About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer III to join our team remotely, focusing on innovative solutions for the Life Sciences industry. What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve software solutions that address complex business challenges.
  • Play a pivotal role in redesigning our monolithic legacy products using AWS best practices.
  • Mentor team members on software engineering best practices and foster a culture of quality.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
  • Self-manage your workload according to project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews to promote quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Support code deployments and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sprint goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, particularly in software engineering remote roles.
  • Strong proficiency in C# (.NET 8), React, and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud development, specifically AWS.
  • Understanding of DevOps best practices using GitHub and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices, including Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and domain-driven design.
  • Ability to write testable code and implement unit tests and integration tests.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in environments subject to HIPAA and/or PCI regulations.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications related to software engineering.
  • Experience with test-driven development and event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of clinical informatics and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
