About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team remotely. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests, improving our testing frameworks, and collaborating closely with developers to enhance the overall quality of our products.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the testing process and improve deployment efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
• Utilize testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Conduct API security testing and ensure application security best practices are followed.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices.
• Provide mentorship to junior QA engineers and assist in their professional development.
• Analyze test results and report defects to the development team for resolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Knowledge of API security testing and application security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and data integrity practices.
