Social Media Manager - Remote Role in Web3

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join our team at Aztec. This Social Media Manager remote position will allow you to lead our social strategy and manage high-visibility campaigns while working from anywhere in the United States. You will help elevate our brand and engage our community across various platforms including X, YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

What You'll Do

• Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to Web3 retail audiences and privacy enthusiasts.
• Align campaigns with the technical roadmap and overarching marketing goals.
• Develop engaging and original content in the form of short-form copy, video shorts, polls, and more, leveraging updated algorithms and best practices.
• Experiment with trends and new types of content, showcasing an outgoing, on-camera personality that embraces social moments.
• Foster meaningful interactions with community members and followers, responding to direct messages daily.
• Manage social media agencies to support new follower growth and engagement across platforms.
• Dive deep into analytics and metrics to understand performance, iterating quickly based on data to amplify successful strategies.
• Report on social media performance and audience insights to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to amplify content and messaging.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Social Media Manager, preferably with 3+ years in the blockchain or crypto sector.
• Experience working with retail audiences in Web3 post token-launch.
• Strong understanding of Web3, privacy, blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, and the crypto ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
• Creative and forward-thinking with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Agency and contractor management experience is a plus.
