Senior UI/​UX Designer - Remote Position at Brandt Information Services

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join Brandt Information Services in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior UI/UX Designer remote, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences across our platforms, which serve state wildlife and parks agencies. Your designs will directly impact how users interact with our technology, making outdoor recreation more accessible and enjoyable.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with product and development teams to create innovative designs for new and existing features.
• Engage with Scrum Teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to understand requirements and create wireframes and mockups.
• Ensure designs adhere to Brandt's UI/UX standards and align with user habits.
• Convert approved wireframes into responsive UI using HTML and CSS.
• Conduct regular UI/UX studies to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall user experience.
• Monitor system changes and user workflows to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Provide guidance on UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze user behavior.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in UI/UX design or a similar role.
• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or Figma.
• Solid understanding of usability principles and experience in developing wireframes or mockups.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Ability to apply accessibility principles in design and frontend code.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Goal-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Familiarity with WCAG/Accessibility standards.
• Experience in conducting user tests and gathering data to support design decisions.
