What You'll Do

• Engage in diverse software development tasks, including the design and implementation of distributed systems and services.
• Support trading operations by ensuring reliable delivery of high-quality, easily accessible data.
• Build scalable data infrastructure and robust production-critical pipelines.
• Lead complex projects from inception to completion, including requirement gathering and stakeholder communication.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering and research staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in data engineering.
• Proven track record in software design and implementation focusing on correctness and efficiency.
• Expertise in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience in a Linux/UNIX environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with cloud storage and processing technologies such as BigQuery and Snowflake.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly.
