Senior Shopify Developer - Remote Position

As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will master Shopify and Shopify Plus, understanding their features, limitations, and best practices. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively.

What You'll Do

• Implement features and applications optimally, integrating with IT systems such as ERP, OMS, CRM, and PIM.
• Develop using Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and be comfortable with front-end frameworks like React and Vue.js.
• Optimize front-end performance, focusing on speed, accessibility, and technical SEO.
• Stay updated with the evolution of Shopify's roadmap, APIs, and emerging technologies like Hydrogen and Remix.
• Work efficiently with Git and versioning workflows, ensuring clear documentation of your work.
• Design and develop custom apps, implementing integrations via Storefront API, Admin API, or GraphQL.
• Collaborate with the project team to challenge business needs and propose solutions that adhere to best practices.
• Contribute to the establishment of headless or composable commerce architectures.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Shopify/Shopify Plus development.
• Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and familiarity with front-end frameworks.
• Experience with API integrations and a solid understanding of e-commerce platforms.
• Ability to optimize performance, robustness, and maintainability of platforms.
• Excellent documentation skills and commitment to code quality.
• Agile mindset with a focus on continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with headless commerce architectures.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in the e-commerce space.
• Previous involvement in mentoring or training others.
