Senior Service Designer - Customer Experience Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Service Designer - Customer Experience Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will lead the design of user-centered services that enhance customer experiences across various touchpoints. As a Senior Service Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create impactful service blueprints and journey maps that drive business success.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of service design projects, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
- Create detailed service blueprints and journey maps to visualize user interactions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to develop and refine service concepts.
- Facilitate design sprints and workshops to co-create solutions with team members and clients.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance service design capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in service design, user experience design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing service design projects and user-centered design processes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex design challenges.
- Familiarity with design thinking and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or related industries.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools such as InVision or Axure.
