About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Service Designer - Customer Experience Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will lead the design of user-centered services that enhance customer experiences across various touchpoints. As a Senior Service Designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create impactful service blueprints and journey maps that drive business success.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of service design projects, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
  • Create detailed service blueprints and journey maps to visualize user interactions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to develop and refine service concepts.
  • Facilitate design sprints and workshops to co-create solutions with team members and clients.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance service design capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in service design, user experience design, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing service design projects and user-centered design processes.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex design challenges.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial services or related industries.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools such as InVision or Axure.
  • Understanding of service blueprinting and journey mapping techniques.
