About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer - Remote to join our team as a freelancer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our fintech solutions through effective testing strategies and automation. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will mentor team members on quality guidelines and best practices, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

What You'll Do

  • Create resilient, robust automated tests aligned with industry standards.

  • Contribute to and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Work in a Scrum Agile and continuous delivery environment.

  • Utilize excellent automation skills with Cucumber and Java.
  • Define and create automation tests in line with guidelines.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of REST principles and API testing approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with XML, JSON, Tomcat, Linux, and Web Services.
  • Proficiency with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Strong SQL skills are essential.
  • Good understanding of non-functional testing (performance, resilience).
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, high-performing, and goal-oriented.
  • Experience with secure development and transaction processing systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the FinTech industry.
