About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to join Twinkl Educational Publishing in a remote capacity. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our users' experiences through innovative design solutions. Your work will directly impact educators and students, making their interactions with our digital resources more intuitive and engaging.

What You'll Do

  • Create user-centric designs: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications that enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct user research: Collaborate with the UXR and customer insights teams to gather user feedback and translate findings into actionable design insights.
  • Lead design exploration: Facilitate ideation sessions with cross-functional teams to explore design solutions and ensure alignment with user needs.
  • Build design systems: Contribute to the development and implementation of design standards that promote consistency across all digital products.
  • Mentor junior designers: Share your expertise and advocate for best practices in design within the organization.
  • Support product development: Engage in the end-to-end product development process from conception to launch, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Build strong relationships with various stakeholders, effectively communicating design decisions and incorporating feedback.
  • Stay updated: Keep abreast of the EdTech landscape and emerging technologies to inform your design approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in customer-facing products in the EdTech sector.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, user research, and final designs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI and its applications in education is a plus.

  • Experience in mentoring and leading design teams.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles.
  • Experience with user testing and iterative design processes.
