About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer - Remote to join our dynamic team at StudySmarter. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience for millions of students worldwide. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to one of Europe’s leading EdTech startups.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to shape product and design decisions.
  • Utilize user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
  • Conduct A/B testing and usability testing to gather qualitative and quantitative insights for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain design systems that promote consistency across our products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and experience with high-fidelity design.
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Experience in the EdTech industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in design.
  • Experience in graphic design and content creation.
  • Knowledge of HR management and employee lifecycle management.
