Senior Product Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Photoroom, a leading AI photo editing platform. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience across our mobile, web, and API products. This is a remote position that allows you to work from anywhere in Europe, with the added benefit of fully reimbursed monthly visits to our Paris office.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate closely with engineers to translate designs into production, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms.
• Utilize your creativity and mastery of design tools to create impactful user interfaces that balance platform standards and brand expression.
• Focus on delivering real impact by prioritizing product effectiveness over endless refinement.
• Leverage cutting-edge AI tools to streamline your design process, allowing you to concentrate on bold ideas and high-impact execution.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with various teams, including Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning, to ensure coherence across all product platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing recent mobile UI work.
• Ability to balance speed and impact, delivering high-quality work at pace without compromising on craft.
• Experience working with design systems and understanding design as an interconnected system.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions effectively to stakeholders.
• Cross-platform design experience, including creating mockups and prototypes for mobile and web interfaces.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a standalone freelancer or in building creative tools at an early stage.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
