About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer - Onchain Options Trading - Remote to join our innovative team at Kraken. What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of new product concepts for the Onchain space, focusing on options trading.
• Create visually rich and innovative designs that enhance Kraken's brand recognition.
• Collaborate closely with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to ensure cohesive product development.
• Balance business objectives and customer needs to produce data-informed outcomes.
• Track emerging customer trends and upgrade designs accordingly to stay ahead in the market.
• Mentor and inspire teams to maintain high design standards and foster a culture of excellence.
• Communicate design intent clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Own your work and take accountability for design quality, ensuring a user-centric approach in all designs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading product design initiatives in the crypto space, particularly in options trading.
• Strong knowledge of financial platforms and decentralized workflows.
• Expertise in solving UX challenges and crafting intuitive experiences.
• Research-backed methods to inform design decisions, with a focus on user testing and feedback.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with Ethereum and financial trading platforms is a plus.
• Experience in leading product design across mobile and web platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in finance.
• Previous experience in a fully remote work environment.
