About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. As a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer, you will lead the design and integration of advanced electronic systems, contributing to our mission of technological advancement.

What You'll Do

• Research, design, develop, integrate, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including RF datalinks and SATCOM.
• Act as the Comms Resiliency Lead, overseeing the technical direction and execution of communication updates on RQ-4 Enterprise Contracts.
• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring adherence to development and integration standards.
• Provide technical status updates to program leadership and customers, assessing cost and schedule impacts of technical decisions.
• Coordinate with the Technical Review Board on upcoming change packages and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of engineering experience, or a Master’s with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of RF communications architectures and systems.
• Experience with network products such as routers, firewalls, and switches.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to Have

• Current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Experience with airborne platform integration.
• Familiarity with system engineering and requirements derivation.
