What You'll Do

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale cloud solutions focused on Oracle cloud database services.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable delivery of cloud solutions.
  • Establish and enforce cloud governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Champion secure-by-design principles to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize Oracle cloud databases for performance, reliability, and operational alignment.
  • Oversee cloud migrations and modernization efforts with minimal disruption.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud/database issues and lead incident response in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture with prior Oracle DBA experience.
  • Deep expertise across major clouds (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP) and architecting Oracle workloads.
  • Strong skills in cloud identity, security, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
  • Advanced IaC capabilities using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Oracle database deployments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles and compliance for Oracle data.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analytics and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with additional cloud services and tools.
  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud or related technologies.
