Senior Network Engineer - Datacenter

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer - Datacenter to join our team at Hashlist. In this role, you will manage, design, and optimize enterprise datacenter network infrastructures. This position is crucial for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing datacenter environments, making it an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional looking to make a significant impact.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and maintain core switches, Cisco ACI environments, firewalls, load balancers, and access switches within the central datacenter.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all network components.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of core network architectures for location-specific datacenters.
• Provide expert consulting support to tiered locations on network design and implementation.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of network access services to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including managed service providers, software and hardware vendors, technical teams, and business units.
• Drive escalation and problem management processes, coordinating complex incident and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture or a related role, with a focus on Datacenter Networks.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, security concepts, technologies, and tools (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco FMC, Cisco ACI).
• Proven experience in managing enterprise-level network infrastructure.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) - minimum B2 level.
• Good communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to solve complex issues.

Nice to Have

• CCNP or equivalent certification.
• Understanding of ITIL practices and the service lifecycle.
• Proficiency in service management tools and software.
