Senior Manager, R&D Finance - Remote Position

About the Role

Twilio is hiring a full-time Senior Manager, R&D Finance to join our dynamic team, working remotely from Canada. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial strategies that drive our research and development initiatives. As a Senior Manager, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial health and strategic alignment across projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead financial planning and analysis for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support R&D initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances to inform stakeholders.
• Implement financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on R&D finance or similar roles.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting in a tech environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel and ERP systems.
