About the Role

Zapier is hiring a full-time Senior Manager, Product Design to lead our Workflow team. This Senior Manager, Product Design remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the USA or Canada, providing you with the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life. You'll be at the forefront of designing innovative workflows that empower users to automate their tasks seamlessly.

What You'll Do

• Lead the product design team, focusing on creating user-centric designs that enhance the overall user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement design strategies that align with business goals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.
• Develop design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proven experience in leading design teams and managing design projects.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the SaaS industry or with workflow automation tools.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic front-end development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
