Senior Growth Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Growth Engineer to join our dynamic team at Samsara. This Senior Growth Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to drive measurable business growth through innovative technology solutions. You will play a crucial role in scaling our product-led, self-serve experiences across the customer lifecycle, from trials to purchases and renewals.

What You'll Do

• Build customer-facing self-serve products from the ground up using a combination of custom frontends, cloud applications, backend services, and scripts.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing, sales operations, finance, and other go-to-market teams to implement growth initiatives.
• Leverage data to understand our customers and our funnel in depth, identifying areas of opportunity and executing projects to drive revenue, customer growth, retention, and engagement.
• Drive engineering discussions and write thoughtful documentation and unit tests.
• Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in full-stack or growth-focused environments.
• Proficiency in front-end development, particularly with JavaScript (Vue.js or similar frameworks).
• Strong proficiency in Python (Flask or similar frameworks) and experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, test, and deploy production-quality systems end-to-end.
• Excellent debugging, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Strong business acumen and curiosity about growth strategy and customer journeys.
• Experience using AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, and Lambda.
• Knowledge of tools like Turborepo, Terraform, or Playwright.
