We are seeking a talented Senior Golang Backend Developer to join our innovative team at ZABEL. This role offers the opportunity to work on scalable backend architectures in the gaming industry. As a Senior Golang Backend Developer remote, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our game backend services.

What You'll Do

  • Develop robust and scalable backend architectures using Golang.
  • Take responsibility for strategic direction and new features in the game backend.
  • Ensure reliable API communication between clients and servers (spins, bonuses, events).
  • Implement performant game logic based on mathematical models and RTP calculations.
  • Optimize performance and scalability for peak loads.
  • Maintain security, compliance, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Golang.
  • Solid understanding of Clean Code, Design Patterns, and scalable architectures.
  • Experience with Docker, Microservices, GitLab, CI/CD, and REST APIs.
  • Ideally, knowledge of AWS/Cloud Computing.
  • Strong communication skills, empathetic, and team-oriented.
  • High degree of self-organization and quality awareness.
  • Very good German (at least C1) and English (at least B2).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the gaming industry.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages.
