Senior Field Marketing Manager - DACH Region

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager to join our team at Kong, a leader in providing open-source platforms and cloud services for managing APIs and microservices. This Senior Field Marketing Manager remote position will focus on the DACH region, where you will be responsible for driving integrated marketing campaigns that enhance our brand presence and generate new business opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Establish yourself as a trusted and strategic marketing partner to the regional sales teams in the DACH region.
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across events, content marketing, social media, and paid digital campaigns.
• Drive pipeline generation and acceleration through targeted regional marketing programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing activities with business objectives.
• Manage regional marketing budgets and report on campaign performance and ROI.
• Identify and evaluate regional event opportunities including trade shows, conferences, and executive dinners.
• Develop localized content and messaging that resonates with the DACH market.
• Track, measure, and analyze campaign effectiveness to continuously optimize marketing efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in field marketing or related roles, particularly in the DACH region.
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies and campaign management.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams.
• Experience managing marketing budgets and analyzing campaign performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in German and English.
