Senior Software Developer - Process Automation with BPMN

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer - Process Automation with BPMN to join our team remotely. In this role, you will focus on modeling complex business processes using BPMN in digitalization projects while overseeing and strategically developing our central Camunda platform.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect process applications, continuously enhancing our BPMN platform.
• Develop associated IT applications and services (Microservices) using Java / SpringBoot and TypeScript / Angular.
• Ensure code quality, deliver development performance in functional testing, and manage component design, developer testing, and documentation.
• Consult with clients to clarify their business requirements, create precise effort estimates, and support productive application operations in 3rd-level support.
• Lead external developers at onshore and nearshore locations, ensuring effective collaboration.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in process modeling with BPMN, ideally with Camunda.
• Strong knowledge in application development with Java 17+ / SpringBoot 3 and modern frontend technologies like Angular 17+ / TypeScript.
• Expertise in REST APIs, architectural patterns such as Microservices or Event Architectures, and common operational procedures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with agile project methodologies (Scrum) and related tools such as JIRA, GitLab, GitOps, and SonarQube.
• Excellent ability to work in agile teams and mentor external developers.
