We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer - Refrigeration Systems (Remote) to join our innovative team at Dover Corporation. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in refrigeration and HVAC systems to lead the design of cutting-edge products. This remote position allows you to collaborate with a global team of approximately 24,000 employees, all dedicated to redefining what's possible in the industry.

What You'll Do

  • Manage large assemblies in CAD, creating and reviewing manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on the fabrication plan for new products.
  • Design component packaging and refrigeration tubing layouts using CAD, ensuring adherence to sheet metal fabrication processes and standards.
  • Provide design support for New Product Development (NPD) and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) projects.
  • Schedule critical tasks and deliverables, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Brainstorm with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet product market specifications.
  • Create and review project charters, project plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to define product market specifications for new refrigerated doors and frames.

Requirements

  • B.E/B.Tech in Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in design engineering.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing projects on structural sheet metal.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems, sheet metal standards, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of working independently on NPD/VAVE projects.
  • Proficient in designing and developing structural components using SolidWorks.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Exceptional communication and interaction skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced CAD software and simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to refrigeration systems.
  • Certification in project management methodologies.
