About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst - Economics to join Chainlink Labs, a leader in the blockchain space. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping decentralized economics while working remotely. This position requires a blend of data analysis, economic modeling, and blockchain expertise to drive impactful decisions within our Economics and Executive Leadership teams.

Your Impact

In this Senior Data Analyst - Economics remote role, you will serve two primary functions: designing analyses that inform strategic decisions and building systems for production applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing innovative economic mechanisms and incentive schemes.
• Building models and simulations to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Parameterizing trading systems and optimizing parameters for production applications.
• Contributing to the design of Economics programs and applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure economic soundness and scalability.

Requirements

To succeed in this Senior Data Analyst - Economics remote position, you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role, particularly in trading or quantitative research.
• A deep understanding of financial and crypto markets and incentives.
• Extensive experience in financial modeling, data engineering, and model automation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience in solving economic problems through statistical and econometric analyses.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Preferred qualifications include:

• A strong background in Economics and/or Finance, ideally at the Master's level.
• Experience with smart contract programming (Rust, Go, Solidity) or familiarity with smart contract code and dApp architecture.
• Published research in economics or crypto topics.
