Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team at VIRTHIO. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team and support clients across various sectors, including Banking, Services, and Energy. As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will define and implement security strategies to protect critical infrastructures while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

What You'll Do

• Define and implement security strategies to protect critical infrastructures;
• Monitor and analyze threats, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality;
• Collaborate on secure architecture design and vulnerability management;
• Implement and manage security controls based on international standards;
• Participate in security audits and ensure compliance (ISO 27001, etc.);
• Support incident response and forensic analysis;
• Contribute to the implementation of advanced encryption solutions;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met;
• Identify and document security risks in complex projects;
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, such as Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in Cybersecurity;
• European Citizenship (Mandatory);
• Fluent English skills;
• Possession of at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, GCCC, CEH, ECSA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer;
• Experience in PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography) is a strong plus;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced encryption solutions;
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks.
