Director of Construction & Project Management - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Construction & Project Management - Remote to lead our efforts at Blue Stream Fiber, a pioneering telecommunications company committed to enhancing connectivity through high-speed fiber internet services. In this role, you will oversee the performance of our Construction and Project Management teams, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

• Drive the performance of the Construction and Project Management teams, ensuring effective project execution.
• Oversee all construction projects, maintaining accountability for project planning and execution.
• Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the teams.
• Establish strong relationships with vendors and contractors to enhance project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations and prioritize network reliability and performance.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to pod leaders, collaborating closely with the Director of Design.
• Review project performance metrics with executive leadership to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Lead initiatives to launch new products in operations-intensive industries.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in Construction and/or Project Management.
• Proven experience managing Construction and Project Management departments at a regional level.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage large-scale, matrixed teams.
• Advanced expertise in telecommunications construction and project management.
• Financially disciplined with experience in ROI measurement.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• B.S. or MBA in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
