About the Role

LI.FI is seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our innovative team focused on the Stellar Ecosystem. This Senior Backend Engineer remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Europe or APAC, contributing to cutting-edge projects in the rapidly evolving crypto space.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement robust backend systems that support our Stellar-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize existing backend services for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure the quality of the code through unit testing and code reviews.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer, with a strong focus on building scalable applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and API design.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with blockchain technologies, particularly Stellar.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
