Senior Azure DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that enhance our development processes. This position offers the flexibility of working from anywhere while collaborating with teams across the globe.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Develop shared pipeline libraries and reusable automation frameworks using Groovy and YAML templates.
• Integrate with Kubernetes/OpenShift (Helm, manifests) and container registries to streamline deployments.
• Automate database deployments using Liquibase, Redgate, or equivalent tools for SQL Server and Databricks.
• Support developer and data teams with pipeline onboarding, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Implement observability for CI/CD systems, focusing on logging, monitoring, and metrics.

Requirements

• Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift or EKS/AKS) and container deployment automation.
• Proficiency in database DevOps tools like Liquibase, Redgate, or similar, along with SQL scripting skills.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or Bash.
• Experience in building reusable pipeline libraries or templates.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD infrastructure administration at an enterprise scale.
• Knowledge of Azure App Services, Functions, or cloud platform automation.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
