About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join our team at TRM Labs. What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain a production-grade evaluation system that enhances model accuracy and latency.
• Lead experimentation and fine-tuning processes to optimize AI/ML models continuously.
• Advance the orchestration of AI systems, ensuring they are scalable and resilient.
• Elevate technical standards through mentorship and leadership within the engineering team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive critical investigations and deliver insights rapidly.

Requirements

• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proven experience in deploying machine learning and deep learning models in production environments.
• Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks and ML Ops practices.
• Ability to own critical systems end-to-end and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large language models (LLM) and Generative AI (GenAI).
• Familiarity with evaluation metrics and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-velocity work environment.
