Senior AI Agent Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to join our innovative team at Openprovider. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world, contributing to the transformation of the domain industry through advanced AI-driven solutions. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain high-level software that meets our business requirements, focusing on backend processes and AI-driven engineering workflows.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust backend systems for AI agent-based software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine software requirements.
• Utilize your expertise in PHP (Symfony) and/or Go to develop scalable applications.
• Engage in API design and development, focusing on REST and gRPC.
• Manage databases effectively, leveraging MySQL/PostgreSQL for data storage.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• 1+ years of experience in AI agent-based software development.
• Proficient in PHP (Symfony) and/or Go.
• Strong API design experience (REST, gRPC preferred).
• Solid knowledge of databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• GCP or AWS deployment experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Practical experience using LLM tools in engineering workflows.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and refactoring strategies.
