Senior Account Executive - Marketing Solutions for Large Customers
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive - Marketing Solutions to join our team at LinkedIn. This Senior Account Executive remote position will be pivotal in expanding LinkedIn’s reputation as the premier media channel to market to professionals worldwide. You will engage with senior-level executives, strategizing on how LinkedIn can drive revenue for their businesses.
What You'll Do
- Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at client companies or agencies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue to their business.
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior executive clients at SVP, VP, and CMO levels.
- Identify new buying groups to grow client investment through a consultative approach.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Insights, Marketing, Measurement, Sponsorships, and Agency to collaborate on campaign strategy and activation.
- Proactively investigate industry-specific information and trends, providing research and narratives to align with customer needs.
- Conceive and pitch creative marketing solutions to advertising agencies and direct clients.
- Command, report, and forecast sales activity from prospecting to closing deals and renewals.
- Generate revenue and hit target quota, with accountability around forecasting and gap planning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, media, and/or business development.
- 2+ years of media sales or digital media account management experience.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C selling.
- Ability to develop authentic, senior-level relationships.
- Experience preparing sales proposals, forecasts, and account planning.
- Understanding of advertising technology and marketing automation.
- Ability to achieve results by understanding customer needs and connecting them with business solutions.
- Proven track record of exemplifying leadership behaviors.
