About the Role

Equip Health is seeking a dedicated Scheduling Operations Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for our patients and their families. As a Scheduling Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing patient scheduling needs and facilitating access to specialized care.

What You'll Do

• Respond efficiently to onboarding tasks and patient inquiries.
• Schedule initial intake sessions for patients, ensuring timely access to care.
• Educate patients on our treatment model and set clear expectations.
• Manage provider schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct proactive outreach to patients with appointment gaps to enhance engagement.
• Provide valuable input on workflow improvements to enhance the scheduling process.
• Complete documentation accurately in our digital systems.
• Adapt to organizational needs and changes as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer or patient support role.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency with digital communication platforms and scheduling tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
