About the Role
Join GuidePoint Security as a Sales Operations Intern - Remote. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in sales operations while working remotely. As a Sales Operations Intern, you will support our Regional Partners and Account Executives by managing various sales and marketing efforts. This position is crucial for maintaining and growing our customer base, and you will be involved in generating quotes, managing SalesForce.com opportunities, and corresponding with customers.
What You'll Do
- Assist in generating quotes for customers and managing SalesForce.com opportunities.
- Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries to ensure smooth operations.
- Suggest creative pricing and payment solutions that balance customer needs with pricing policies.
- Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, and GuidePoint outside Sales Executives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and customers to enhance service offerings.
- Attend regional forecast calls and perform pipeline analysis to ensure forecast accuracy.
- Leverage resources and relationships to bring value to customers.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze information and make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required; experience with SalesForce.com is preferred.
- Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience is a plus.
- Solid math skills with the ability to calculate margins, discounts, and percentages are essential.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong drive for results.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Open to receiving constructive feedback and applying it to improve results.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a sales support role.
- Familiarity with the sales process and customer engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sales operations.
