Sales Development Representative - Web3 Focus
About the Role
We're hiring a Sales Development Representative to join our team at Alchemy, focusing on the Web3 space. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and contribute to our mission of bringing web3 to a billion people. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in helping developers and companies accelerate their product development on our infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate across our internal business and technology teams to drive desired business outcomes for our customers.
- Reach out to new leads via various communication channels, including non-traditional channels such as Telegram and X, to get them excited for an introductory call.
- Educate cryptocurrency companies about blockchain nodes and troubleshoot their infrastructure issues.
- Contact, prospect, and qualify potential customers and partners through inbound and outbound sales efforts and campaigns.
- Refine and establish processes to support our business’s evolving needs.
- Own, manage, and report using a CRM, ensuring the system is up to date with all relevant metrics.
- Serve as the initial point of contact and ongoing relationship manager for customers.
- Provide customer feedback to the product and engineering teams to inform product development.
- Work with support and communicate with customers both pre and post-sales.
- Respond and communicate quickly with customers.
Requirements
- Strong desire to work in sales at an early-stage startup.
- Deep knowledge and passion for the crypto/blockchain industry.
- An existing network of crypto founders and projects in the APAC region.
- An active presence on “Crypto Twitter”.
- 2-4 years of experience with inbound, outbound, and client-facing sales.
- Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS offerings.
- Skilled in prospecting techniques.
- Ability to operate independently and proactively across multiple global time zones.
- Proficiency using CRM software, forecasting, and opportunity management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
- Account Manager/Executive/Director experience.
- A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
- Skill at presenting technical solutions to prospects and customers.
- Demonstrated track record of working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Advanced CRM experience including configuration and development of dashboards and reports.
