About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Roving Emergency Coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity. What You'll Do

• Coordinate emergency response efforts in various regions, ensuring timely and effective action during crises.
• Engage with local communities and stakeholders to assess needs and implement appropriate interventions.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the capacity of local teams in emergency preparedness and response.
• Collaborate with international organizations and UN agencies to align strategies and share best practices.
• Utilize data management tools to track project progress and report on outcomes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency response or humanitarian coordination.
• Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and emergency preparedness frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in training development and capacity strengthening initiatives.
• Proficiency in data management and compliance with safety regulations.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in challenging humanitarian contexts.
• Familiarity with WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and EIE (Education in Emergencies) sectors.
• Additional languages spoken are a plus.
