Director of Litigation, Competition & Regulatory Affairs - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Litigation, Competition & Regulatory Affairs to join our team at Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). This remote position offers a unique opportunity to lead litigation, competition, and regulatory affairs across the EMEA region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with competition laws and managing regulatory investigations while collaborating with a global team.

What You'll Do

• Formulate and implement internal processes to ensure compliance with global regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with SIE’s global litigation and competition counsel in the United States and other regions.
• Represent SIE’s interests before authorities and agencies.
• Manage litigation and matters before regulatory agencies, partnering with outside counsel.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments under competition and consumer protection laws.
• Assist in developing policies and guidelines for the SIE business and legal department.
• Provide training to the business on competition laws and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with SIE Government Affairs on public policy initiatives regarding competition.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent international degree.
• Active license to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in litigation, competition, and regulatory matters.
• Experience advising companies on European and international regulatory agency activities.
• Strong understanding of competition law and the ability to analyze complex legal information.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Data-driven mentality with strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Experience working as part of global litigation and competition teams is a plus.
