About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Roll-Off Driver to join our team remotely. As a Roll-Off Driver, you will be responsible for distributing, collecting, and emptying commercial waste receptacles for our valued customers. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company-issued vehicles.
  • Collect and distribute commercial waste receptacles according to the daily route sheet.
  • Communicate any changes to the daily route sheet to the dispatch team effectively.
  • Notify the supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur during your route.
  • Review and complete daily work orders accurately.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of the route sheet and Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) by the end of each day.
  • Navigate various environments, including driveways, alleyways, and high-traffic roadways, while operating the vehicle safely.
  • Operate vehicles in compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating a vehicle with a manual transmission.

Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate a DOT vehicle.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Proficient in operating a DOT vehicle in reverse motion.
  • Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees, and community.
