Senior Product Designer - AI-Powered Tools

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer remote to join our innovative team at QuillBot. With over 56 million users worldwide, we are dedicated to enhancing writing through AI-powered tools. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences that are both intuitive and engaging.

What You'll Do

• Drive end-to-end product design, from user research to final delivery, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
• Design QuillBot’s browser extension experience for Chrome, Edge, and Safari, focusing on core capabilities and visual design.
• Ensure seamless integration of the browser extension with our web app, creating a consistent user experience across all platforms.
• Contribute to our design language system, balancing the reuse of patterns with the creation of new components.
• Advocate for user experience by understanding user needs and behaviors, crafting thoughtful experiences within browser constraints.
• Participate in design critiques, mentor peers, and contribute to team rituals to foster a culture of design excellence.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in designing consumer-facing web products or browser extensions.
• A portfolio showcasing systems thinking, polished visual design, and user-centered processes.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with an understanding of responsive design and web patterns.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma or similar.
• Experience designing for AI-powered tools is a plus.
