About the Role

Valor Healthcare is seeking a passionate RN Clinic Administrator to join our team remotely. In this role, you will oversee the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Ithaca, ensuring operational excellence and high-quality care for our veterans. As an RN Clinic Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day clinic operations while providing exceptional customer service and support to our dedicated team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage daily clinic operations and ensure clinical quality expectations are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and clinic visitors, both in person and over the phone.
  • Collaborate with the Clinic Medical Director to enhance clinic performance.
  • Analyze financial performance, focusing on revenue growth and cost containment.
  • Develop and implement strategies for veteran enrollment and retention.
  • Maintain staffing levels in line with veteran enrollment and operational efficiency.
  • Review clinical quality metrics and financial reports to drive improvements.
  • Foster a positive working relationship with VA partners and keep leadership informed of significant issues.

Requirements

  • Two years of healthcare management experience, preferably in a government healthcare environment.
  • Current RN license or certification in the state of New York.
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; associate degree or diploma certificate accepted.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience as a registered nurse.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support.
