About the Role

Empire Eye Physicians is seeking a Retina Surgeon to join our team in the beautiful Spokane Valley and North Idaho region. This Retina Surgeon position offers an outstanding opportunity to build a thriving retina practice within a respected, high-volume, technology-forward organization known for excellence, collegiality, and exceptional patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive medical and surgical retina care.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a full spectrum of complex retinal conditions.
  • Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic testing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ophthalmic team to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
  • Support clinical excellence by contributing to quality improvement initiatives and best practice standards.
  • Participate in building and strengthening our rapidly expanding retina service line.

Requirements

  • Board-Certified MD (or Board Eligibility with plans to certify).
  • Current Washington and Idaho medical licensure (or ability to obtain).
  • Fellowship training in Retina/Vitreous Surgery.
  • Experience in developing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and quality initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality surgical and clinical care.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, staff, and referring providers.
