Residential Remodeler - Full-Time Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Remodeler to join our team at West Shore Home. This Residential Remodeler remote position involves working on-site in Des Moines or Altoona, IA, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the homes of our customers. As a part of our team, you will be involved in various remodeling projects, ensuring high-quality installations and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and prepare for the day.
  • Travel to customers' homes, greet them, and establish rapport to ensure a positive experience.
  • Remove existing windows and doors, and install replacement windows and exterior doors with precision.
  • Replace trim and ensure all installations meet company standards.
  • Thoroughly clean up the work area, showing care for the customer’s home.
  • Collect paperwork and payment upon completion of the job, then return to the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
  • A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
  • Must have a valid smartphone or smart device for logging into company systems using two-factor authentication.
