About the Role

Nerdio is hiring a full-time Technical Writer to join our innovative team. This is a remote Technical Writer position based in the USA, where you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for our software products. As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our documentation meets the needs of our users.

What You'll Do

• Create and maintain user manuals, API documentation, and online help systems for our software products.
• Work closely with the engineering team to understand product features and translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements and ensure documentation aligns with product goals.
• Edit and proofread documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Participate in user feedback sessions to gather insights for improving documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, or similar.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API documentation and technical writing for SaaS products.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
