Remote Staff Technical Product Manager - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Staff Technical Product Manager specializing in Cloud Infrastructure to join our dynamic team at JumpCloud. In this role, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our core cloud infrastructure platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. As a Remote Staff Technical Product Manager, you will leverage your extensive experience in cloud services to deliver world-class solutions that empower IT teams and MSPs to manage identities, devices, and access seamlessly.

What You'll Do

• Define and prioritize the product vision and roadmap for our multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to organize and prioritize testing efforts for new cloud deployments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to understand their needs and drive execution.
• Engage with enterprise customers to discover and document their cloud migration needs, collaborating with our Professional Services team to create migration plans.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and demonstrate the value delivered.
• Proactively identify, resolve, and mitigate risks that could affect program scope, schedule, and quality.
• Utilize your technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, including familiarity with Kubernetes, API integration, and Terraform, to guide product development.
• Present program progress and delivery updates to executive leadership, ensuring organizational visibility.

Requirements

• 12+ years of technical program management or product management experience, specifically in large-scale engineering programs.
• Extensive hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably from a major Cloud Service Provider (CSP) like Microsoft, Google, or AWS.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Exceptional communication and technical presentation skills, with the ability to present to executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
• Product management or technical certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Microsoft Certified) are advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and cloud-native product/services environments.
• Familiarity with program management tools like Jira or Smartsheet within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Strategic thinking abilities and a capacity to thrive in ambiguous environments.
