Remote Staff Product Manager - Advertising Solutions

About the Role

Wattpad is seeking a Remote Staff Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on evolving our advertising products, ensuring they enhance user experience while driving revenue. As a Remote Staff Product Manager, you will collaborate with engineering, design, and advertising teams to define product direction and deliver impactful advertising solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for key advertising initiatives.
• Partner with engineering and design to deliver high-quality ad products from discovery through launch.
• Balance advertiser needs with user experience and advertising growth goals.
• Use data, experimentation, and user insights to inform decisions and measure impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align on priorities and tradeoffs.
• Identify opportunities to improve ad performance, delivery, tech stack, and measurement.

Requirements

• Experience working on ad tech systems such as ad serving, targeting, pacing, measurement, or experimentation.
• Experience within a publisher ad tech environment, including hands-on exposure to ad servers, SSPs, and related tooling.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs in complex problem spaces.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting plans as new information emerges.
• A collaborative working style and the ability to build trust across teams.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• A track record of shipping products that deliver value to users and the business.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on consumer-facing products where user experience is critical.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and data-informed decision-making.
