Remote Staff Accountant - MS Business Central Expertise Required

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Staff Accountant with expertise in Microsoft Business Central to join our growing team. As a Remote Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial reporting, accounts payable, and general ledger functions. What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Assist in financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize Microsoft Business Central for accounting functions and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Support tax preparation and compliance efforts, including federal and state filings.
• Engage in financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central is required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with tax compliance and preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• CPA certification is a plus.

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of government contracting accounting practices.
