Remote Senior Solutions Architect - APAC Region

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team at Chainguard. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading implementations and empowering our customers to leverage Chainguard to build secure software. You will embody our core value of being customer-obsessed, ensuring that our customers are prioritized throughout the implementation and onboarding lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical implementations and drive the adoption of Chainguard images, assisting customers in securely utilizing open-source software across their organizations.
• Collaborate with the account team, including Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Support, to understand customer visions, pain points, and proposed solutions, thereby driving account-level strategies and value realization.
• Ensure the highest quality of Chainguard Images by acting as “customer zero,” testing, documenting, and facilitating a seamless onboarding experience for customers.
• Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and help prioritize image builds effectively.
• Maintain appropriate account-level architecture and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
• Be a collaborative team player, teaching and learning from the Chainguard team to foster a culture of growth and innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Containers.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
• Proven ability to work closely with customers and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with security best practices in software development.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles.
