Remote Senior Software Engineer - AI/​ML Focus

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Fluxon. As a leader in AI and software development, you'll play a crucial role in designing and deploying AI-powered applications that transform ideas into impactful products. This position is open to candidates based in Hyderabad, India.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end AI systems, focusing on data ingestion, preprocessing, model inference, and output structuring.
• Lead the development of generative AI solutions, optimizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and Agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain and Genkit.
• Deploy AI models to production environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement evaluation and monitoring systems to assess model performance, focusing on accuracy, relevance, and drift in production.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate AI capabilities into core products.
• Fine-tune open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral) for specific domain tasks, optimizing for latency and cost.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on AI/ML.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred), Java, C++, Scala, or JavaScript.
• Experience with AI frameworks and tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and production engineering.
• Ability to evaluate and monitor AI model performance effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of model optimization techniques.
