Remote Senior Software Engineer - AI/​ML Focus

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Fluxon. As a leading product development team founded by ex-Googlers, we focus on transforming bold ideas into impactful products. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications that can revolutionize industries.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end AI systems, including data ingestion, preprocessing, model inference, and output structuring.
• Develop and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and Agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain and Genkit.
• Deploy models to production environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement feedback loops to evaluate model performance, focusing on accuracy, relevance, and monitoring for drift in production.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate AI endpoints into core products and define AI capabilities.
• Fine-tune open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral) for specific domain tasks, optimizing for latency and cost.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with Java, C++, Scala, or R is a plus.
• Strong understanding of AI system architecture and deployment.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for production engineering.
• Ability to evaluate and monitor AI model performance.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with generative AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with model optimization techniques.
