About the Role

This role is crucial as you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and evolving our foundational infrastructure that supports our internal Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform. What You'll Do

• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, Kafka ecosystems, and cloud environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Apply sound engineering principles and operational discipline to build robust systems.
• Enhance automation processes to improve infrastructure reliability.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to empower them to leverage the infrastructure products we create.
• Contribute to the evolution of our Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform, ensuring it meets the needs of over 3.3 billion monthly active users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Strong expertise in managing Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Experience with Kafka and other messaging systems.
• Proficient in automation tools and practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in a high-scale production environment.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
