Remote Security Test Engineer - Advanced Hardware Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Security Test Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of advanced silicon and IP products. As a Security Test Engineer, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies, identify potential hardware vulnerabilities, and validate security features across complex systems.

What You'll Do

• Define and implement security-focused test plans, coverage goals, and DFT strategies for secure ICs and cryptographic IP.
• Conduct hardware vulnerability testing, including fault injection and side-channel analysis.
• Develop automated test procedures and data analytics for evaluating security performance.
• Support product qualification, certification, and release-to-manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to maintain security integrity during production.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and test reports.
• Mentor and guide team members on hardware security testing best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor test, hardware validation, or hardware security evaluation.
• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic principles, hardware security modules, and tamper-resistant design.
• Hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or custom hardware setups.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Tcl for test automation.
• Understanding of analog/mixed-signal fundamentals and secure memory design.
• Familiarity with security standards such as FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, or ISO/IEC 17825.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
