What You'll Do
- Support the Sales Team in achieving yearly bookings goals and expanding CommonLit’s impact in US schools.
- Engage in early pipeline development and management, including sourcing leads and conducting direct outreach.
- Qualify leads by assessing their viability and conducting thorough research into school districts and state contexts.
- Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to accurately log all activities and manage lead information.
- Propose improvements to processes that enhance efficiency in pipeline maintenance and development.
- Conduct market research to inform state-based strategies, collaborating with teammates to synthesize findings.
- Contribute to additional team projects as needed to support overall sales objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 1 year of experience as a K-12 classroom teacher or as a Sales Development Representative.
- Goal-oriented with a team-first mindset.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate with others.
- Preferred experience with CRM systems such as Hubspot or Salesforce.
Nice to Have
