What You'll Do

  • Support the Sales Team in achieving yearly bookings goals and expanding CommonLit’s impact in US schools.
  • Engage in early pipeline development and management, including sourcing leads and conducting direct outreach.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their viability and conducting thorough research into school districts and state contexts.
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to accurately log all activities and manage lead information.
  • Propose improvements to processes that enhance efficiency in pipeline maintenance and development.
  • Conduct market research to inform state-based strategies, collaborating with teammates to synthesize findings.
  • Contribute to additional team projects as needed to support overall sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a K-12 classroom teacher or as a Sales Development Representative.
  • Goal-oriented with a team-first mindset.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Preferred experience with CRM systems such as Hubspot or Salesforce.
